Pizza Fondue

Pizza Fondue

With all of the New Year’s Eve parties and get-togethers coming up next week, I thought I would share an appetizer that you can “WOW” your guests with.  And this one happens to be super easy to make.  My family absolutely loves Pizza Fondue, and they beg me to make it for them—not as an appetizer, but for dinner!  It’s a kid-pleaser for sure, but even my husband gets excited when he knows I’m going to make it.  I mean who doesn’t love pizza??  And when it involves dipping French bread pieces into a cheesy sauce that’s full of pizza toppings, you’ll find yourself surrounded by happy, smiling people.  I promise.  Here’s a look at what you’ll need.

Happy New Year!!

  1. Laura, I am definitely going to try this. And now that I live in Las Vegas, Chili Rellenos Casserole doesn’t cost a fortune and I can also make that! I will use both recipes for a party at my new house.

  2. Great, Randy! Congratulations on getting your new house!!!

  3. Ashley has been telling me all about pizza fondue. We were going to do it tonight for her birthday! I am excited to try it!

  4. Hi Lauren! I have a funny story about this recipe. It can be kind of messy because the cheese gets a little stringy, and at one point I considered tossing the recipe just for that one reason. Almost in unison, my whole family said, “NO! WE LOVE THAT STUFF!” And since they love it so much, I kept it and put it on my blog. I hope you enjoy it, and thanks for celebrating Ashley’s birthday with her.

  5. Could I do this in a crockpot on low so I can do it all at work for a potluck?

  6. KH, I have never made this in a crockpot. It doesn’t need to cook long — just long enough to melt the cheese. I suppose you could try it in a crockpot, but it I think it will take longer to melt the cheese than it would in a fondue pot. Be sure you don’t continue to cook it once it’s melted.
