Broccoli Baked in a Swiss Cheese Sauce

Broccoli Baked in a Swiss Cheese Sauce

I love vegetables, but I’m not a rabbit.  For me, veggies usually need to have some kind of sauce or cheese.  This recipe for Broccoli Baked in a Swiss Cheese Sauce fits the bill.  It has plenty of cheese and flavor.  To make it, you’ll need broccoli, Swiss cheese, mayonnaise, green onions, dry mustard, and some salt and pepper.

Start by cutting the broccoli into flowerets.

Put them in a pot and cover with water.  Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain.

Preheat the oven to 350.  Shred the Swiss cheese and slice the green onions.

Arrange the broccoli in a 9×13 baking dish.  Combine the remaining ingredients together in a medium bowl.

Spoon evenly over the broccoli.  Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 20 minutes or until the cheese sauce is melted.  And don’t forget. . . If you’re cookin’ DINNER, make sure it’s a WINNER!
